Jacksonville Woman Finds A Worm In Her McDonald’s Chicken Sandwich

Please ‘like’ & ‘share’

Parasites are far more common than you think.  It’s a myth that parasites only exist in underdeveloped countries. As scary and gross as it may be, it is not uncommon. Personally I’d like to learn about them to get rid of them. YES! YOU CAN GET RID OF THEM! I will teach you how. As part of my program that I offer as a Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach, I start my clients with a detox.  There are a few ways you can detox, some are faster than others. You can do it with using certain foods that will help flush them away, you can drink a tea that will kill them and flush them from your body, there are also supplements available and then there is colon hydrotherapy. No thanks, I’ll just drink the tea!

WARNING! It’s certainly enough to turn your stomach.

Joyce Fedd didn’t find just one purple worm inside her McDonald’s McChicken sandwich. She says she found two.

“I went to the drive-through and ordered two chicken sandwiches for my kids when I bit into this one something,” Fedd said. “I tasted something. Took it out my mouth and [it had] a worm in it.”’

The owner of the McDonald’s quickly issued a response to the incident.

“Food safety is a top priority and we take incidents such as this very seriously, as it is highly unusual,” Jim Van Laere, the McDonald’s owner/operator, said. “When the customer returned to the restaurant and brought it to our attention, we refunded her money and replaced her sandwich, and quickly reviewed our entire kitchen to ensure this type of occurrence could not happen.”

WARNING, VERY GROSS…If you eat meat, cheese, eggs and dairy, chances are your body is acidic and if your body is acidic then chances are you have parasites or worms.  In this video a man had 10 pounds of tape worms removed from his stomach.

10 SIGNS YOU MAY HAVE A PARASITE

Before we get into the signs of a parasite, lets talk about…

WHAT IS A PARASITE?

A parasite is any organism that lives and feeds off of another organism. When referring to intestinal parasites, I’m referring to tiny organisms, usually worms, that feed off of us, our nutrition.

Parasites include roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms, whipworms, hookworms, and more as you have seen in the video. Some consume our food, leaving us hungry after every meal and unable to gain weight. Others feed off of our red blood cells, causing anemia. Some lay eggs that can cause itching, irritability, and even insomnia. If you have tried countless approaches to heal your gut and relieve your symptoms without any success, a parasite could be the underlying cause for many of your unexplained and unresolved symptoms.

How do you get parasites?

There are various ways to contract parasites. It can be as simple as parasites entering your body through contaminated food and water. It’s common for parasites to thrive in underdeveloped countries because of contaminated water supplies, also contaminated lakes, ponds, or creeks. Water is primarily how parasites infect humans. Protozoa parasite, Giardia Lambia parasites found in most contaminated water is not killed by chlorine.  This parasite is most often misdiagnosed as the stomach flu.

Under cooked meat, including fish is a common place for parasites to hide, as well.  However, meat is the not the only culprit. Unclean or contaminated fruits and vegetables can also harbor parasites. Some parasites can even enter the body from the bottom of your feet.

Once infected, it’s very easy to pass it along. Wanna know why you were always told to WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER USING THE BATHROOM or just to wash your hands in general? If you have a parasite and don’t wash your hands after using the restroom, you can easily pass along microscopic parasite eggs onto anything you touch — the door handle, the salt shaker, your phone, or any person you touch. It is also very easy to get parasites from touching animals too. Ok, I know what you are thinking now. Don’t get too crazy on me! Because parasites come in so many shapes and sizes, they can cause so many different problems. This is why it is important to LEARN about them & rid them from your body.

Now lets talk about the possible signs of having parasites.

10 Signs You May Have a Parasite

  1. You have an constipation, diarrhea, gas, and/or other symptoms of IBS
  2. You’ve traveled internationally and experienced traveler’s diarrhea while abroad
  3. You have a history of food poisoning and your digestion has not been the same since.
  4. You have trouble falling asleep, or you wake up multiple times during the night.
  5. You get skin irritations or unexplained rashes, hives, rosacea or eczema.
  6. You grind your teeth in your sleep.
  7. You have pain or aching in your muscles or joints.
  8. You experience fatigue, exhaustion, depression, or frequent feelings of apathy.
  9. You never feel satisfied or full after your meals.
  10. You’ve been diagnosed with iron-deficiency anemia.

Typically we see parasites causing more constipation in clients than diarrhea, but some parasites are capable of changing the fluid balance in your gut causing diarrhea. Diarrhea and IBS are so common in America today, mostly because of the inflammation causing foods we eat, not from parasites, but that’s a whole other blog.

Parasites release toxin into the blood stream causing us to have trouble sleeping, skin irritations, mood changes, and muscle pains but those too are symptoms that can be caused from inflammation causing foods. These toxins often cause anxiety, which can manifest itself in different ways. For instance, waking up in the middle of the night or grinding your teeth in your sleep are signs that your body is experiencing anxiety while you rest. When these toxins interact with your neurotransmitters or blood cells, they can cause mood swings and skin irritation.

How to Test for Parasites

The best way to test for a parasite is to get a stool test. Most doctors will run a conventional stool test if they suspect a parasite, however these are not as accurate as the comprehensive stool tests that is used in functional medicine. If you think you might have a parasite, I encourage you find a functional medicine physician in your area so that they can order a comprehensive stool test for you. My motto is: Good gut health leads to good health. It all starts there!
